In this post, I’ll teach you how to take four simple pantry staples and turn them into the most delicious whipped cream frosting.

Gather your ingredients:

Ingredients: 2 cups cream, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 1 tbsp gelatin, 1 vanilla bean or 2 tsp vanilla

Directions: in a mixer, combine maple syrup and gelatin. Allow gelatin to bloom. Turn mixer to medium and slowly add your cream and vanilla.
beat until stiff peaks. Magically you have whipped cream.

Be careful to not over whip as over whipped cream turns into butter.

use for: sheet cakes, cupcakes or scoop and freeze for a delicious addition to hot chocolate

I also use this whipped cream frosting as a topping for my grandmas black bottom pie.

To make Black Bottom Pie, you’ll also need to make a pie crust and the black bottom fillings.

This whipped cream frosting takes just a mintue to whip up if youre using a Bosch Mixer or several minutes with any othe mixer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cream
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1 vanilla bean or 2 tsp vanilla

    Use as frosting for cakes or perfect for pies and hot cocoa
