You’ll receive one dehydrated sourdough starter that contains enough starter for you to easily make 3-4 starters (should you ever accidentally use it all). The starter you are getting was given to my dad by my great grandpa over 30 years ago. This starter came from his starter that he used as he cowboyed through the Owyhee Mountains of Idaho. So your starter is actually over 80 years old. You’ll also receive an ebook on how to rehydrate, a recipe and more history on the starter.

please do not split your dehydrated starter and share with a friend. This is intended for one purchase/person and for you to have a back up.

if you’d like your friend to have a starter, please purchase a starter for them and use their email in the order form.

Ingredients: organic all purpose flour, filtered water, great grandpas starter, and love

Order turn around time: I do not ship on Sunday. That being said, I aim to get all orders out within 72 hours. All orders placed after 3pm MST will go out the next day (unless it is sunday).

shipping: the stamp I use for USPS signifies that it should be hand sorted and NOT machined therefore your order is handled with better care. That being said, it does add some time to get your order to you. In most cases, it should take 7-10 business days for it to arrive.
