First and foremost, this post is NOT sponsored. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I know that Azure Standard is gaining popularity and I wanted to take a moment to share my honest thoughts, share about the company, and maybe bring more of the company to your awareness.

What is Azure Standard

Azure Standard is an online grocery store. The simplest way to explain is think of costco but azure doesnt have the membership fees. You can shop when you want and get what you want.

Azure prioritizes small, independent companies. You can read more about who they are here.

Azure holds dearly to Christian core values and standards, which I truly admire.

What sets Azure apart from costco is that you can buy in bulk for greater savings or don’t. You can choose how much you want. For example, stone ground mustard can be purchased as one 12 ounce bottle, three 12 ounce bottles, one 32 ounce jar, one gallon, etc. you can see on the image below that the varying sizes have a different cost per fluid ounce.

What Azure Standard is not

Azure Standard is NOT a go any time you want groceries. Azure is an order online and they ship it to you. You are responsible for remembering to order.

You may not always get everything in your order. Sometimes items go out of stock and so the item wont ship. The packers will not offer a substitute.

You need to plan. Think about your commonly used products and what you use the most.

You are not guaranteed the same delivery time each month or the same date. You must be flexible with deliveries or speak with your site coordinator.

Azure is not always free delivery. The nearest big city to me offers delivery without extra fees because of the sheer number of people participating. In my little town, there is a delivery fee. With the sizes of my orders, it is usually between, $10-15. Personally, I don’t feel like this is outrages. It would cost me way more in gas, or diesel, to drive into town and pick up my order. When I think about shipping anything via UPS and having a 40 pound (or more) order, the shipping is going to be easily three times the amount. It is all about perspective.

Also to note, is that their prices do fluctuate so be mindful when ordering. I also keep in mind whats on sale for the next month (you get the next months sales flyer in your order) so that also helps me save.

Lastly, it is important to know your prices on items.

8 reasons why I shop with Azure Standard

If you can’t tell by now, I truly love shopping Azure Standard.

  1. Organic Groceries, I dont have the best selection in my little town so Azure is a great resource for me.
  2. Commitment to small businesses
  3. Product Selection
  4. Convenience, I like to grocery shop and take my time looking at products but I also like being able to get my fridge stocked in one big haul
  5. Christian Views
  6. Ability to buy in bulk and save
  7. Grain selection, I like to mill grain for sourdough and Azure has the best selection for really great prices
  8. Ingredients! They have a commitment to ingredient standards that helps me be at ease with the products I bring into my home.

My top 5 favorite items I buy from Azure Standard

Let’s get into it! Here are my top items I buy from Azure:

  1. Honey I use for canning and help my allergies.
  2. Grains
  3. Pasta
  4. Mozzarella Cheese
  5. Spices and Herbs
  6. Crushed tomatoes are a staple in this house because I can use them for pasta or pizza sauce or chili
  7. hand and dish soap my hands get so rough and crack easily with being in the kitchen and cooking. Since switching to Azure soap and using tallow balm (code FLOURING), my hands have never looked better.
  8. You’ll need something to put your bulk purchases in so their Storage buckets and lids or mason/canning jars make great storage solutions.

But honestly, I have loved everything I have ordered from Azure which is why I keep shopping monthly with them.

What items and categories of groceries does Azure carry

This should really say, what does Azure NOT carry?! Because they carry a wide variety of products and are growing each month with new product offerings.

but their main categories are food, health and beauty, household & family, nutritional supplements, and outdoor and garden. I frequently check their clearance tab for deals.

Azure has some raw milk products like cheese and A2/A2 milk if that is something you prioritize.
